The Story Behind Strada Food Industry
A street deli, but refined, built by two people who've spent their careers around good food and good hospitality.

Our Story
Strada Food Industry is run by Danny Anastasi, a hospitality veteran with around 30 years in the industry.
It's a full-circle moment for the pair, Sam started out as Danny's apprentice years ago, and years later the two teamed up to open Strada together.
What began as a grab-and-go idea evolved into something harder to categorise: a street deli, but refined. The result is a menu built around Italian street food classics, made with the same care you'd expect from a full restaurant kitchen.
Meet the People Behind the Counter
Hospitality craft, culinary pedigree and barista precision working side-by-side every morning in Glynde.
Danny Anastasi
With close to three decades in hospitality, Danny brought Strada to life after a few years away from the industry, drawn back by the idea of building something genuinely his own in Glynde.
Sam Smith
Our chef, and former executive chef at Bloom, Sam leads the kitchen at Strada. He's also a seventh-generation farmer's son, with his family farm in the Adelaide Hills shaping how we think about sourcing, direct, seasonal, and local wherever we can.
Aldo Varricchio
Our barista, Aldo pours every coffee using beans from Melbourne's Roasting Warehouse, bringing the same care to your morning coffee as the kitchen brings to the menu.

From the Farm to Our Kitchen
Sam's connection to his family's farm in the Adelaide Hills means sourcing is personal at Strada.
We lean on seasonal, local ingredients wherever we can, from the vegetables in our Cuzzetiello to the produce on our panuozzo, and pair it with quality smallgoods, cheeses and house-made bread.
It's the same approach behind our coffee, poured by Aldo using beans from Melbourne's Roasting Warehouse.
